NASA targets Wednesday for Crew-5 launch to ISS

Los Angeles (US), October 5: The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and SpaceX are targeting Wednesday, Oct. 5, for the launch of the agency's Crew-5 mission to the International Space Station (ISS), according to the latest update of the agency.
Last week, the mission teams adjusted the launch date to this week due to the impact of Hurricane Ian.
The Crew-5 flight will carry NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, along with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina to the ISS.
After the Dragon spacecraft docks to the orbiting lab, four station crew members of the Crew-4 mission will end their mission and return to Earth just over a week later, according to NASA.
The Crew-4 mission will undock from the space station and splash down off the coast of Florida.
