10 killed overnight as Israel airstrikes target Rafah

Apr 21, 2024

Rafah [Palestine], April 21: The southern city of Rafah has been the main focus for the Israeli military in their operations on Saturday, with overnight air strikes killing at least 10 Palestinians.
Meanwhile, surveillance drones were reported to behovering at a very low altitude over the city.
Israeli forces also recently targeted a residential house in the western part of the Rafah district.
There have been no reports of casualties so far in the attack, which seemed to target an empty house that was completely destroyed.
Rafah has been witnessing a surge of Israeli military strikes in the past couple of weeks.
This could be seen as a sign that further military incursion could be carried out, specifically in light of the Israeli mobilisation of its troops near the border with Rafah. (Agencies)
