Colombia reports 3,588 new COVID-19 cases

Bogota [Colombia], March 11: Colombia registered 3,588 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, taking its nationwide tally to 2,285,960, said the Ministry of Health and Social Protection on Wednesday.
The country reported 97 more deaths, raising the national death toll to 60,773, said the ministry.
Colombian President Ivan Duque said that a new batch of vaccines from a U.S. pharmaceutical company arrived on Wednesday, which will be applied to front-line health personnel. The government announced that it hopes to reach the goal of one million people vaccinations on March 20.
