40 killed in Israeli airstrike in an Iranian school

Tehran [Iran], March 1:: Iran's official news agency Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported that the death toll from the Israeli raid on a primary school in southern Iran had risen to 40.
At least 40 people, including children, were killed in the Israeli airstrike, according to local media reports.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency quoted the deputy governor of Hormozgan Province as saying that a girls' primary school in the province had been attacked.
Reports indicated that around 170 female students were present at the school at the time of the strike.
The figures could not be independently verified, and there was no immediate comment from Israeli authorities.
