Abuja [Nigeria], April 9: At least 60 people were killed in armed attacks in northwestern Nigeria.
According to local authorities, at least 20 people were killed in the town of Irina in Shiroro area of Niger State, while gunmen carried out deadly raids on several towns in Kebbi State, killing more than 40 others.

Washington [US], July 26: The affray charge accepted by the defendants states that "Chris Brown and Omololu Akinlolu on February 19 2023 used or threatened unlawful violence towards another and their conduct taken together was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety."
