Belarus inflation rises to 7.3 pct in June

Minsk [Belarus], July 12: Inflation in Belarus rose to 7.3 percent on a year-on-year basis in June, the country's central bank said Friday.
The annual inflation was 7.1 percent in May and 6.6 percent in April.
On a month-on-month basis, the consumer price index increased by 0.9 percent in June from May, according to official data.
Regulated prices and tariffs in June increased by 5.7 percent year on year. The figure was 6.1 percent in May and 6.2 percent in April.
In 2024, Belarus registered an annual inflation rate of 5.2 percent.
