Body of Italian Air Force pilot found day after crash in Sicily

Rome [Italy], December 15: The body of Italian Air Force Captain Fabio Antonio Altruda was found a day after the Eurofighter jet he was flying crashed over Sicily, search and rescue operators said Wednesday.
According to local reports, the jet crashed as Altruda was returning to the Trapani Birgi base in Sicily, following a routine training mission. His body was recovered north of Marsala, a few kilometers away.
Media reports said local authorities in Trapani will now carry out an investigation into the cause of the crash.
