Brazil registers over 3 million dengue cases in 2024

Brasília [Brazil], April 12: Since the beginning of the year, Brazil has recorded 3,062,181 probable cases of dengue fever, nearly doubling last year's total of 1.6 million cases.
There have been 1,256 confirmed deaths from dengue nationwide, with an additional 1,857 deaths currently under investigation.
The Ministry of Health released these figures on Wednesday (Apr. 10) via the Arbovirus Monitoring Panel, according to Agencia Brasil (ABr.).
