Death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Yemen climbs to 10

Aug 26, 2025

Jerusalem [Israel], August 26: The death toll from the latest Israeli airstrikes on Yemen has risen to 10, authorities said on Monday.
The Houthi-run Health Ministry reported that 92 people were also injured in the attacks on Sunday.
Authorities had previously reported four deaths and nearly 70 people injured in the strikes.
The Israeli Air Force said on Sunday evening that it had again attacked targets in Yemen, striking a military facility near the presidential palace in the capital Sana'a.
Other targets included two power stations and a fuel depot that supplied the Houthi militia.
Since the start of the Gaza war almost two years ago, the Iran-backed Houthis have repeatedly attacked Israel with missiles and drones in support of the Palestinian Hamas, another Iran-funded group.
Israel has responded by attacking targets in Yemen.
