Washington [US], January 10: The Yemen-based Houthis launched a barrage of drone and missile attacks into the southern Red Sea on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Central Command.
In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, the U.S. Central Command said there were no injuries or damage reported from the attacks.
In response to the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and "in solidarity with the Palestinians," the Yemen-based Houthis have launched attacks on commercial vessels in recent weeks.
