Dec 03, 2025

Washington [US], December 3: During the 5 hours of December 1 (local time), US President Donald Trump's Truth Social social network account posted 160 articles on many topics.
According to Time magazine on December 3, posts on Mr. Trump's account are filled with videos taken from TV channels and comments from supporters. The content is mainly about immigration policy, criticism of political opponents, and videos created by artificial intelligence (AI).
Most of the posts were duplicates, with Trump posting one video and then posting another account's comment on the same video. This partly explains the high number of posts between 19 and 24 hours on December 1.
Immigration dominated much of Mr. Trump's content. For example, his account shared a video of an individual spreading the message that immigrants to the U.S. would force Americans to adopt their culture, or force women to dress modestly.
Other posts included comments criticizing Somali immigrants, as the White House has criticized the group. One post, purportedly an AI video, showed Elon Musk discussing with the Somali community in Minnesota.
Many of the posts reshared comments from other Truth Social accounts, supporting Mr. Trump's work in the White House.
President Donald Trump has been known to be an active user of social media since his first term. According to The New York Times , he has had more than 11,000 posts on Twitter (now X) in his first four years in office. His record number of posts in a day occurred on June 5, 2020, when he posted 200 posts and retweets on Twitter, amid the US's division over police brutality, according to Business Insider.
