Ms. Harris makes her mark and her path

New York [US], August 24: In her speech at the DNC, US Vice President Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic nomination to enter a two-horse race with Republican rival Donald Trump in November. On that basis, Ms. Harris launched a series of policies that contrasted with Mr. Trump, such as cutting taxes for the middle class, fighting for abortion rights, increasing housing supply, and banning price gouging of essential goods.
On immigration, Harris noted that Democrats and Republicans in Congress have drafted a bipartisan bill to address the issue. She stressed her commitment to "bringing a bipartisan border security bill" and said she would sign it into law if elected president.
