Musk says 'willing to serve' in US govt

New York [US], August 21: US entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Tuesday that he was ready to have a role in the US government if such an offer is made.
On Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he was open to consider Musk for a cabinet position or as a potential adviser if he is elected US president in November. "I am willing to serve," Musk said on X.
Last week, Musk interviewed Trump on the Spaces platform on X. In July, he posted a statement on X supporting Trump in the presidential race.
The US presidential election is scheduled to be held on November 5.In July, incumbent US President Joe Biden said he was withdrawing from the election in the best interest of the Democratic Party and the nation. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. (Sputnik)
