One dead, 4 migrants missing after attempting to reach Greece

Athens [Greece], January 25: A migrant has lost his life while attempting to cross from Turkiye to Greece, and four more people are still missing, the Greek news agency ANA-MPA cited the coastguard as saying.
ANA-MPA reported on Saturday that 50 refugees reached the coast of the Greek island of Ikaria. A large-scale rescue operation was launched, the coastguard said.
The search involved coastguard patrol boats, a helicopter from the Greek Air Force and local fishermen. (DPA)
