Munich [Germany], June 21: Clean-up efforts continued in Munich on Saturday after two freight trains collided on a railway bridge overnight, killing one person and sending two wagons crashing onto a road below. One of the two wagons that was dangling from the bridge was lifted onto the road below by a heavy-duty crane around midday, police said. Plans called for the second wagon to be lifted back onto the bridge; however, a police spokeswoman noted that several derailed wagons would first need to be removed from the bridge deck. The collision occurred at around 1:40 am (2340 GMT Friday) for reasons that remain unclear.
