Parachutist lands in monkey enclosure

Amsterdam [Netherlands], January 12: A Dutch parachutist aiming for a sports stadium landed in a monkey enclosure on Saturday by mistake, officials said.
The man was lucky to escape serious injury: "A hundred metres further and he would have landed among either the elephants or the lions," said Robin de Lange, director of the Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, in Utrecht province.
The monkeys - all bonobos - were locked inside the enclosure. The man's parachute was probably blown off course by gusts of wind, the Dutch ANP news agency reported.
