Qatar takes part in GCC economic senior officials meeting

Doha [Qatar], May 1: The State of Qatar participated in the 15th Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority, held on Thursday via videoconference, reaffirming its continued commitment to strengthening regional economic cooperation and integration.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Dr Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, and included senior officials from finance and economic institutions across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the latest developments in joint economic initiatives aimed at advancing integration among GCC economies. Discussions focused on progress in implementing unified economic visions, enhancing coordination across sectors, and addressing challenges impacting regional growth and sustainability.
The committee also examined the Authority's annual report, highlighting key achievements and outlining priorities for the coming period. Officials exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest.
