The head of the Kyiv military government, Serhiy Popko, said that up to 10 UAVs were destroyed when they approached Kyiv. On the same day, The Kyiv Independent quoted Ukrainian officials as saying that explosions were also heard in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Lutsk and Odessa. Russia has not commented on the above information. Following the series of explosions, Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko warned that the situation in Ukraine's energy system was very tense.
