Thailand, Cambodia agree to immediate joint ceasefire

Bangkok [Thailand], December 27: Thailand and Cambodia signed a joint statement on the resumption of the ceasefire mechanism along their shared border, following 20 days of intense fighting, according to Thailand's official state television.
The broadcaster said that Thai Defence Minister Natthaphon Nakrphanit and Cambodian Defence Minister Tea Seiha signed the joint statement on the resumption of the ceasefire, effective from 27th December.
