The American Republican Party mistakenly posted a photo of Ho Chi Minh City as the place to select presidential candidates

Washington [USA], June 8: The Republican National Convention (RNC) is the event at which the party will officially select the presidential and vice presidential candidates to run for the White House. This year's event takes place on July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin .
However, according to the version archived on the RNC's website in February, the organizers are said to have mistaken the image of Ho Chi Minh City for Milwaukee, leading to the image of Ho Chi Minh City being displayed on this website, Huffpost reported today. 4.6.
Boston Globe journalist Sam Brodey posted this incident on social network X and attracted more than 640,000 views.
The RNC organizers later changed the photo to the city of Milwaukee, but this mistake was published by some media outlets. Democrats took advantage of this to criticize Republicans for not focusing on the plan in Wisconsin.
"If (former US President) Donald Trump and the RNC really care about the campaign in Wisconsin, they should know the difference between Milwaukee and Ho Chi Minh City," the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel quoted Mr. Alex Floyd, Response Director. of the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Currently, only Mr. Trump is a Republican candidate eligible to run, so this party's convention is mainly a formality. The position of vice presidential candidate accompanying Mr. Trump has not yet been determined.
