Hanoi [Vietnam], April 11: In the film "The Alley Without Love ," Phan Như Thùy plays Trinh, a student with a healthy appearance and a straightforward personality. The character makes an impression by not conforming to the familiar feminine archetype, but instead possessing very unique hobbies such as going to the gym, practicing traditional martial arts, and playing video games.
This very difference became what interested the singer when she took on the role. "Just hearing about being a physical education student already made me feel different from myself, because in real life I'm not good at this subject, and even back in school I considered physical education my weakest subject," Phan Như Thùy shared.
Without needing to drastically change her voice or expression, Phan Như Thùy chose an acting style that was close to real life . Her deep tone, slow rhythm, and natural demeanor helped the character Trinh easily evoke empathy. "I acted quite comfortably, like I was being myself in a different situation," the 9X beauty shared.
How has Phan Như Thùy changed?
Alongside her role in "The Alley Without Love ," Phan Nhu Thuy's journey after the beauty pageant has also brought about many positive changes. Although her work schedule hasn't been significantly disrupted, the transformation in her appearance and demeanor has helped the actress become more confident when appearing in public.
Losing 4kg not only resulted in a slimmer figure but also improved flexibility in her movements on stage. "It feels like I'm still myself, but more polished and confident," the singer shared.
