Thousands run in Beirut int'l marathon

Beirut[Lebanon], November 14: More than 12,000 runners from 60 countries and regions took part on Sunday in the Beirut International Marathon 2022, the National News Agency reported.
The marathon was organized by the Beirut Marathon Association in the Beirut Waterfront area under the slogan "I am Beirut."
Ethiopian runner MetkoDekiba won the men's 42km race in 2:14:21, while his compatriot MologuAmbe claimed the women's title in 2:28:57.
