New York [US], May 22: Major indices on Wall Street closed higher at the end of trading on Thursday.
The S&P 500 index rose by 11.54 points, or 0.16 percent, to close at 7444.51 points.
The Nasdaq Composite also gained 25.82 points, or 0.09 percent, to reach 26296.18 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 278.91 points, or 0.56 percent, ending the session at 50288.26 points.

New Delhi [India], October 28: Organisations across industries are investing heavily in artificial intelligence, analytics, automation and digital platforms, yet the returns remain uneven. A 2025 McKinsey study found that only 16 % of digital transformation initiatives succeed in delivering sustained performance improvements, despite widespread adoption of advanced technologies. At the same time, Gartner reports that 65 % of organisations now regularly use generative AI in decision-making, signalling that access to technology is no longer the constraint. The disconnect lies elsewhere.
