New York [US], September 9: Wall Street's major indexes ended Tuesday's trading session lower.
The S&P 500 fell 45.08 points, or 0.58 percent, to 7,673.52, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 628.18 points, or 1.18 percent, to 52,786.07.
The Nasdaq Composite also declined 85.58 points, or 0.32 percent, to 26,421.41.
