White House announces President Trump's health results

Dec 02, 2025

Washington [US], December 2: The White House press secretary on December 1 informed about the results of US President Donald Trump's health check, in the context of the Democratic Party raising questions.
Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a press conference that President Trump's recent MRI results were " completely normal," amid questions from Democrats about the White House owner's health, according to Politico on December 1.
"All functions assessed were within normal limits, with no acute or chronic issues," Ms. Leavitt said. She added that the results of the health assessment were within the standard range for a leader of President Trump's age, affirming that Mr. Trump remains in excellent overall health.
President Trump, 79, had a cardiovascular and abdominal exam in October. He also said he passed a cognitive test, but did not say whether it was part of the October assessment.
The White House released Mr Trump's MRI results after reporters asked what part of his body he had examined.
"It was an MRI. What part of the body? It wasn't the brain because I did the cognitive test and aced it," he said.
Mr Trump is facing pressure to release the results of his medical examination, after Democrats, such as Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, questioned the US president's mental health and fitness.
Ms Leavitt said the October test was done to determine any, if any, issues. She said Mr Trump's overall health "ensures long-term function".
According to the doctor's summary, Mr. Trump's cardiovascular system is "in good condition," showing smooth blood vessels and no signs of abnormalities. Meanwhile, images of Mr. Trump's major organs "appear to be very healthy and well-supplied with blood."
"I think this is a pretty important detail in the effort to bring transparency to the issue," Ms. Leavitt said.
