Washington [USA], June 5: "The use of US military force cannot be ruled out. There is a difference between land deployment, air power and naval power," President Biden replied to Time magazine on June 4. Mr. Biden also emphasized that launching the campaign on the ground will "depend on each situation". Mr. Biden also said Washington will not set a goal of helping Taiwan become independent but will support the island if Beijing tries to change the status quo.
